Temporada Alta - The Autumn Festival of Catalonia · Girona / Salt 2011

The Festival

1992, Bitò creates a theatre festival in Girona

Temporada Alta was born at the hands of Bitò Produccions and supported by Girona City Council from the outset. The program only included four hilarious shows which were staged at the La Mercè Centre Cultural in Girona. In this first edition, the festival created the Theatre Patrons' Club, a formula created by Bitò to bring more money into theatre programs and which was to become one of the keys to establishing the festival.
